Junior Firefighter Junior firefighters are ages 14-18. Junior Firefighters learn what it takes to become a firefighter. They attend drills, training and meetings with the Firefighters. Junior firefighters over the age of 16 are allowed to respond to calls at the discretion of the Junior Firefighter advisor or senior officer. Junior Firefighters are issued uniforms and all protective gear required. Junior firefighters are also involved in fund raising, community service and social functions that the MPVFC attends.
